Yogurt Tahini Salad Dressing

Yogurt Tahini Herb Salad Dressing: Flavorful, stick to your ribs homemade yogurt based salad dressing, perfect for meal in a bowl salads with grains and beans.

We love this dressing with Winter Salad or Mediterranean Rice Salad. It also makes a lovely dip for raw veggies.

We use a homemade cashew soy yogurt recipe we found in Artisan Vegan Cheese by Miyoko Schinner, but any thick plain yogurt will work. Vegan mayo or sour cream will also work in this recipe

  • 1/2 cup plain unsweetened soy yogurt (or vegan mayonnaise or sour cream)
  • 2 Tbsp tahini
  • 1 Tbsp lime or lemon juice
  • 1 - 2 tsp agave syrup or maple syrup
  • 1/2 Tbsp Braggs liquid aminos or soy sauce
  • Optional: 1 - 2 garlic cloves, pressed or minced
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaf
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaf
  • Fresh ground pepper to taste

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and whiz briefly, just until combined
  2. OR: Add ingredients to a bowl and blend with a whisk or stick blender
