Teas are mild flavored, steeped or brewed for a few minutes, and have less tea or herbs added.

Infusions are nutritional and medicinal, steeped for a long time, and have more herbs added.

Pregnancy tonic tea tastes good on it's own, but add a bit of sweetener if you like.

Pregnancy tonic tea is a nutritional infusion, safe for all pregnant women. It's a great source of calcium, and many other essential vitamins and minerals. The ingredients are recommended by Susun Weed, in her book, 'The Childbearing Year'.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup nettle leaves
  • 1 cup red clover
  • 1 cup red raspberry leaves
  • 1/2 cup spearmint leaves

Directions:

  1. Bring 2 1/2 qt water to a boil and boil for five minutes
  2. Remove from heat, and add 1/2 cup of the herbal mixture
  3. Cover and let sit for at least 4 hours
  4. Strain through a coffee filter to get out all the leaves & refrigerate up to 2 days
  5. Warm and drink several times a day
